Dustin Hall

  (CARY, NC)---Wheeling Jesuit junior Dustin Hall has qualified for the NCAA Division II men's cross country national championship by virtue of his fifth place finish at the Atlantic Region meet. The St. Mary's, WV native completed the 10K course in a time of 31:43.5, less than 13 seconds behind eventual winner Nathan Zondlo of Lock Haven.  West Virginia Wesleyan's Barry Franklin placed 23rd and Wheeling Jesuit's Stewart Jones was 24th for the other top 25 efforts by WVIAC male runners. Wheeling Jesuit's Dustin Hall won the 2010 WVIAC men's cross country title with an 8K time of 25:56   (GLENVILLE, W.Va.)---Wheeling Jesuit placed all five scorers in the top twelve as the Cardinals cruised to the 2010 WVIAC men's cross country championship.  WJU's Dustin Hall claimed individual honors with an 8K time of 25:56 to hold off West Virginia Wesleyan's Nate Edwards by seven seconds. Wheeling Jesuit's team score of 36 outdistanced second place West Virginia Wesleyan's 59.  Concord (70), Seton Hill (82), and Alderson-Broaddus (116) completed the top five.

   This past weekend saw one of the largest collegiate cross country invitationals in the South, and the runners from the WVIAC placed high.  The Greater Louisville Classic, held at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky had over 1500 finishers in the college races, and the entire meet produced 20 national elite times.

                      Photos by Meredith McDaniel Carter WHEELING, W.Va)---Concord's men and West Virginia Wesleyan's women used solid team efforts to earn titles at the WVIAC Cross Country championship.  The Mountain Lion men placed five runners in the top ten to hold off West Virginia Wesleyan 37-59.  Wesleyan's women's had three finishers in the top six as they finished ahead of Wheeling Jesuit 37-61.
