Senior Nick Trefz of Fairmont Senior with the 4th fastest time posted in West Virginia this year and the fasted in A-AA classification in 2012 cruised to a 12 second victory with a sub 16 minute time of 15:52.2.

Nothing should be assumed or predicted in the A-AA boys race. It appears to be the wild card of all the races on Saturday. Cross country will get a special treat because it will be the last race of the day.

Charlie Drazba of St. Marys is accustomed to taking 2nd seat to the other famous Drazba named Maggie. However, in his own right Charlie, a senior, is a very accomplished runner and led his team to a narrow 6 point victory over Doddridge County by taking individual honors in 17:43 on the 5K course at the Little Kanawha Conference (LKC) Championship held at Cokely Camp Ground hosted by Ritchie County High School.
