Arguably West Virginia’s best prep female distance runner of all-time, Maggie Drazba, commits to run for West Virginia University.

Drazba is coming off a stellar senior cross country season by becoming West Virginia’s first prep female to ever qualify for Foot Locker Nationals. She posted on December 11th to her Facebook community “I'm so excited to say I've committed to West Virginia University!” Some of the nation’s best individual girl distance runners like Sophie Chase of Virginia and Grace Tinkey of Georgia offered Drazba their congratulations.

Drazba will be a real asset to the WVU women’s track & field /cross country program.  Many can’t wait to see her competing in the Big 12 Conference sporting the Mountaineer blue & gold.
