Welcome to the 2nd Annual Night of Sweet 1600's!
Come Ring the PR Cow Bell!
On Saturday, November 8th, now that you're in great shape, we'd like to invite you to come set a new 1600 Personal Best off your cross-country conditioning as you either tune up for one last post-season cross-country race later in the month or start thinking of track season.
This meet will consist of multiple heats of 1600m races at the Parkersburg High School Stadium Field on Saturday, November 8th, beginning at 5pm. The number of heats will be based on the number of entries. The event is open to unattached athletes from those in middle school, high school, college and recreational athletes. Each race will be seeded based on entry times. New this year we also will have elementary school races for $5 per participant, sign up day only. These races will be a 400 Meter Dash for 3rd Grade and Below, and an 800 Meter Dash for 4th - 5th graders. A great opportunity for the younger kids to join in on the fun!
Entry Fees:

In person registration will be available from 4-5pm on the day of the race for $20, however you will not be guaranteed to be entered in the heat of your preference, therefore it is advised that you register prior to the online deadline of 11/7/2025. All race day registration must be in cash.
Elementary School Races will be $5.00 per runner, paid in cash, sign up day of only!
Gate Fees, Concessions, T-Shirts:
Entry into the stadium for the event will be $3.00 per person.
Concessions will be available for purchase.
T-Shirts / Sweatshirts will be available for purchase next to the concession stand.
Timing / Results:
The meet will be timed using FAT Timing and the Sprint & System timing, officiated by Chip Allman. Results will be posted on www.runwv.com and Milesplit.com
Awards:
Top 3 Finishers in the High School and Middle School Boys and Girls Races will receive a Medal and be recognized on the podium.
Medals will be given to all Elementary School Racer Participants.
All participants who set a new 1600 Personal Best will ring the Cow Bell and be given a Free Chick-fil-A Sandwich to celebrate their post season accomplishment.
