A Night of 3200s (2023)
The Morgantown High School Cross Country team would like to invite you to the 2023 A Night of 3200's. This meet will consist of multiple heats of 3200m races at the Mylan Park Track facility on Saturday, November 11, 2023, starting at 5:00 p.m. Multiple races will be run based on the number of entries. The event is for open/unattached athletes. We expect middle school, high school, college, and recreational athletes. Each race will be seeded based on entry times, not age/grade. The entry fee for this event is $15 per athlete before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 9th, and $20 the race day.
This meet was started in 2019 as the WVU Open - A Night of 3200's but was canceled in 2020 because of COVID.

Entry Fee: $15.00 per 3200m entrant before 11:59 pm 11/9/22 after that, $20 in person on Race Day between 3:30-4:30 pm. No refunds.

Each registered participant must pay online before 11/9 at 11:59 p.m. EST. If payment is not made online by 11:59 p.m. on Nov 9, 2022, the entry fee will increase to $20, and we will only accept cash payment on race day between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Save the email containing your payment ticket to show the day of the meet. This event is free for spectators.

Stadium Opens at 3:30 pm
Heat 1 - 5:00 pm (Girls/Mixed Gender)
Heat 2 - 5:20 pm (Boys)
Heat 3 - 5:40 pm (Girls Emerging Elite)
Heat 4 - 6:00 pm (Boys Emerging Elite)
Heat 5 - 6:20 pm (Girls Elite)
Heat 6 - 6:40 pm (Boys Elite)
3200 Heat Assignments will be posted on November 10th by 5:00 p.m.
Additional heats may be added based on the number of entries. Elite sections will be seeded to optimize performance. Each race will run on time for participant travel purposes, starting with the slower heats and finishing with the Elite Boys and Girls. Athletes may warm up on the walking path surrounding the stadium.
1/4" Mondo track approved pyramid or Christmas tree spikes allowed. No needles or sharp-pointed spikes are allowed.
No pets are allowed in the stadium facility.
