Meet Information
This is our second year hosting our XC races at the St. James the Greater Catholic Church XC course. We host 1K, 2K (jr), 2K, 2Mile and 5K on the same day. Race check-in and packet pickup is done by the team coaches and each runner receives a bib. Bib numbers are tied to the race distance for quick identification. boys get odd bib numbers, girls get even. Boys and girls race at the same time.
The 1K course starts at the top of the hill, loops half way around the soccer field, up a short hill, then loops around three crosses and heads back to the soccer field where the race ends. This is a fun event for younger children. Parents are allowed to run near them to encourage them, but we ask that parents not block other runners in doing so and be encouraging of other kids who are also trying to complete the race.
Awards given for top 3 finishers (male and female) and points are tallied for each team participating that has at least 6 runners participating. Teams are not required to have the minimum number of runners in order to race. Individual runners are also welcome to race but will not be tallied for points.
Timing is done using the Seiko stopwatch with printer and popsicle sticks. We have a backup timer also recording the times. We reserve the right to close registration at any time before the deadline based on the number of registrants and teams participating.

4:20PM: Welcome/ Prayer/National Anthem
4:30PM: Course walk-through
1K and 2K: led by volunteer
2M: led by Stella F.
5K: led by Coach Becca
4:45PM - 1K Run (once course walkers have neared the three crosses)
5:00PM- 2M runners line up at the start
5:20PM - 2K runners line up as 2M finishes up
5:30PM - 5K runners line up as 2K runners finish loop
6:00 PM - Awards Ceremony (in order of race distances). Tallying up of team points
6:30PM - Meet ends

Entries are to be done at MileSplit.com. Entries due by
Friday, September 16th, 5pm
Entry Cost:
$20/team per distance (or $5 per racer)
Entry fee payment due by mail or onsite by race day.
