Cabell Midland High School's Ona Elite 800m relay team is preparing to make some noise and improve upon their time at the New Balance Indoor Nationals when the 800m relay gets under way on Saturday evening March 10, 2012.
"Our 4x800m relay team wants to improve their 8:09 Kentucky Invitational win to try and secure a 4x800m spot at Penn Relays. Last year, our time of 8:10 qualified, but did not make the top 35 times needed", said Coach Chris Parsons of Cabell Midland. Competing for the Ona Elite team from Cabell Midland are Jacob Burcham, Avery Campbell, Tyler Salmons and Brian Lawhon. This will be a timed finals and the Ona Elite team is in section 1.
