New State Best Times and Marks Established at the Kent State Tune Up

Some of the State's best 2006 indoor track and field performances were set at the Kent State Tune Up. West Virginia Wesleyan's Rico Greenhowe set both the 200m and 400m best times in 22:11 and 48.37 respectively. Also of the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, Patrick Reagan established the top 3000m time in 8:59.76. Nicole Lemal of West Virginia University set the 3000m time for the ladies in 10:29.97 while her teammate Pam Richardson set the 400m standard in 57.81. The Concord University Mountain Lions had two of the State's top performances as Chris Herron ran the 800m in 1:59.37 and Karachi Mbaqwu set the ladies 300m time in 44.23. Wheeling Jesuit University Cardinals had two of the top performances established in the Pole Vault and the Weight Throw. Jake Palmer pole vaulted 13-06.25 while Andy Kidwell set the mark in the weight throw of 54-09.00
