West Virgina Wesleyan Dominate Marietta Alumni Open

The West Virginia Wesleyan indoor track and field team traveled to Marietta College and came away with first place finishes for the men and women in impressive fashion. The Lady Bobcats scored 214 points and won by a 67 point margin over fellow WVIAC member Concord University which tied Marietta College for 2nd place with 147 points. The West Virginia Wesleyan men took first place with 240.5 points. Concord University placed 3rd with 131 points. Alderson Broaddus claimed 5th place with 32 points. Tiffany Riley of the Lady Bobcats was the lone double winner as she won both the 200m (28.42) and the 400m (1:02.48). Chris Herron of Concord was a double winner on the men's side.


Herron won the mile run in 4:29.53 and the 3000 meter run in 9:11.98.
