Auric Booker (Riverside, Belle) ran 2:11.52 in the boys' 800 meters at the 60th Capitol City Classic on April 25, improving from his previous best of 2:26.39 set in May 2024. The mark ranks #140 in West Virginia and Booker finished 8th of 39 competitors.
Elizabeth Edgyll (Brooke, Wellsburg) clocked 11:52.65 in the girls' 3200 meters at the Brooke Relays on April 24, breaking her previous PR of 12:40.22. The sophomore's time set a school record and ranks #19 in the state and #2 among sophomores.
Miley Mynes (Hurricane) ran 12:30.50 in the girls' 3200 meters at the 60th Capitol City Classic on April 25, improving from 13:10.69 set in April 2026. The junior ranks #34 statewide and #13 among juniors after placing 2nd of 9 competitors. Mynes also set a PR in the 1600 meters, running 5:53.27 to improve on her previous 5:58.18.
Cameron Woods (Princeton Senior) ran 51.81 in the boys' 400 meters at the 60th Capitol City Classic on April 25, dropping from his previous best of 54.91 set in March 2026. The senior's time ranks #31 in West Virginia and #15 among seniors after finishing 4th of 51 competitors.
