Steve Harrison of Cross Lanes, WV is Still Throwing (and Very Well)

Steve Harrison surpassed the USA Masters Track and Field All-American standard for the Discus Throw at the Ohio University Open in Athens, Ohio on May 8.  His throw of 39.59m (129'10.75") exceeded the Age 40-44 All-American mark of 39.50 meters.  Harrison, of Cross Lanes, is a 43-year-old former WV State Senator.  He competed in track and field and football for Sissonville High School (WV) and Brown University (RI) in the 1980s.
