It did not take Ripley High School long to find another star runner to replace the likes of Tori Starcher. Ripley ninth grader Ellie Hosaflook shot to the front and never looked back in a runaway victory of 19:38 at the St. Mary's Medical Center XC Festival on Saturday. She was dominant prior in middle school races and is quickly translating that same dominance at the high school level.
