On the girl’s side, the Morgantown High School girls track & field team continued their winning season on Friday. The Mohigan girls have been over shadowed this 2012 track season by Buckhannon-Upshur’s Lady Bucs, and all-around athlete Emily Godwin. The Lady Bucs are the two- time defending West Virginia High School AAA Girls Track & Field State Champions. Coach Steve Blinco has made it clear that just because their Morgantown High School girls track team is very young; they are in it to win it!
Junior Natasha Trott won the 100m run and 200m dash, junior Knisha Baldwin won the 400m dash, junior Brynn Harshbarger won the 1600m and 3200m run, and junior Haley Holloway won the high jump.
