The 2021 Spartan Invitational had to rank high on the list of best editions in the meet's long and illustrious history. Searing temperatures had athletes battling the elements in addition to each other over the course of Boardman High School's 5 kilometer route.
Tightly contested team battles and individual match-ups pitting some of the state's best highlighted a day of non-stop action. Our MileSplit Ohio team of contributors collected a tremendous amount of content from the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Open High School Divisions (I, II and III) plus the 3200m competition within the Middle School Divisions.
