As we expressed a few weeks ago during our most recent re-surfaced state association notice, our aim moving forward is to reiterate all communications that the OHSAA announces publicly regarding the re-opening of schools, school facilities and the eventual return of school-based sports.

Review the information in the embedded documents below, which contain messages from the OHSAA's Executive Director, Jerry Snodgrass and the Ohio Department of Health regarding the 'Responsible Restart' program.
Snodgrass outlines what exactly 'Phase 1' and 'Phase 2' mean and he details the open gym / field / workouts criteria with respect to training for both non-contact and contact sports. Also of note is that the OHSAA is now a part of the 'Advisory Group' which works in conjunction with the Governor's office regarding issues pertaining to school sports.
