The 2019 season saw another year of domination by the private schools on the boys side. I doubted St. Xavier all year, only for them to come out to the Horse Park and nearly beat the runaway favorites of Trinity. The girls saw continued domination by the ladies of Oldham County while duPont Manual struggled to find their stride late in the year.
Will the four powerhouse programs of Trinity, St. Xavier, duPont Manual, and Oldham County continue their long standing domination? Or will the oddity of the 2020 season bring us a new state champion?
