Additional Informationwww.wvflyers.org/Meet-Information.php2010-2011 WV Flyers Meet Dates Friday, December 3rd - 6:00pm Friday, January 21st - 6:00pm Saturday, February 12th - TBA Order of running events: 60m hurdle prelims, 60m dash prelims, 400m, 1600m, 60m finals, 60m hurdle finals, 800m, 200m, 3200m, 4x400m.Field events: All field events will begin at the start of the meet: PV, HJ, SP & LJ All the WV Flyers meets are sanctioned by the USATF for open competition. This means anyone of any age may compete. The majority of competitors are middle school or high school age, but we welcome everyone. Please be advised this is NOT an age group. The meets are held at West Virginia University's Shell Building. The Shell Building is adjacent to the outdoor track, both of which are part of the entire sports complex at the Coliseum. The track itself is a rubberized, flat 200m track. The pole vault, high jump, and throwing take place on the infield. The jumping events are held on a similar surface as the track while the throws take place off a wooden circle.
