Former West Virginia University National Champion, Megan Metcalfe, took first place in the 6K NACAC (North America/ Central America/ Caribbean Cross Country Championships).
Metcalfe won the NCAA Championships for WVU last spring in the
5000m. Metcalfe is a 9 time All American and 7 Time Big East Champ.
Metcalfe will be representing Canada along with former WVU All
American Rebecca Stallwood in the World Cross Country Championships held in Japan the first weekend of April.
Metcalfe and Stallwood are still living in Morgantown WV and training with a local club formed by people associated with WVU in Morgantown.
