Cunningham, Pullen power Dots to regional titles
Poca dominated both the boys and girls’ team competitions. The boys’ scored 175 points, while second place Sherman had 97. The Dots’ girls team surpassed the boys total with 179. Scott placed second with 94. On the girls’ side, Poca was led by junior Adrian Cunningham, who captured three individual titles. She won the 200-meter dash, 100-meter high hurdles and 300-meter low hurdles. On the boys’ side, Poca senior Josie Pullen won the 100-meter, 200-meter and 400-meter dash. His time of 50.65 earned him a season-best and won the race almost four seconds. Pullen also assisted the 4x100-meter relay team on their victory second place Sissonville.
