9. Will Jette Davidson Have A Break-through Sophomore Year?
This meet and course was a breakout race for the then E.C. Glass frosh but now as a sophomore she has a target on her back. After posting that fast 19:32 (13th place) it was evident from early on that she was going to have a strong career. Whether she reached the heights of her older sister, Libby is another question.
This weekend though all eyes will be on her and that clock. She finished her freshman year out with a 18:56, 8th place, finish at states and a team title. That time is not only impressive but also very close to the same pace Libby ran which makes this year, the same year Libby had a breakthrough, very very important.
With perfect weather and hopefully a clean bill of health, this could be a big weekend for performances and a great start to Jette's Sophomore season.
