WVW Women, WJU Men Win WVIAC Track & Field Titles

(WHEELING, W.Va.)---West Virginia Wesleyan's women and Wheeling Jesuit's men extended their dominance at the 2008 WVIAC Track & Field Championships.

 

Wesleyan's women claimed their 16th title in the past 18 seasons and sixth in a row as the Bobcats outpoined Wheeling Jesuit 213.5-151.5.

 

Wheeling Jesuit edged Wesleyan on the men's side 179.5-158 for their second crown in succession and ninth in the last dozen years.

 

Complete event winners, which include several NCAA qualifying efforts and conference records, are listed below along with team standings.  Individual award winners also follow:
